The UManresa-Lab Children’s Day Camp is aimed at children between 3 and 8 years old and is located in the facilities of the Lab 0_6 (FUB4 Building – UEducation). The Day Camp revolves around two main themes: learning science through experimentation and play; and what it means to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Our day camp is a clearly educational place where, based on play and experimentation, children’s natural curiosity is stimulated and their reasoned intervention on reality is fostered to bring them closer to scientific knowledge. Each week, various activities are organised around scientific themes that will be approached from personal initiative in solving challenges, making intentional decisions and enjoying positive experiences of scientific learning in an autonomous and self-motivated way.

There will be trips to interesting places and outdoor activities will be prioritised when the weather allows it. Each child will have to bring a mid-morning snack from home, with the exception of one day a week when it will be provided by the Lab (prior notice).

There will be two groups of 18 children and each group will have its own teacher, although groups will also be mixed according to the requirements of the activity.
