Spaces of Lab 0_6
Lab 0_6 consists of four fixed physical spaces and two mobile vans that travel across Catalonia to bring science closer to early childhood education.
The physical spaces that make up Lab 0_6 are Lab 3-6, Lab 6-8, the Matter space, and the GEO space.
The mobile vans include the Lab on Wheels, which offers activities for nursery schools, and the TechnoLab, which brings technology and engineering proposals to schools throughout Catalonia.
Lab 3-6
This space is offered to children aged 3 to 6 years as a free-choice option. Boys and girls can find activities that present a variety of scientific challenges: How can we balance the lever? Can we control the water in the circuit? Can we imagine what animal this bone belongs to?
Lab 6-8
This space is offered to children aged 6 to 8 years as a free-choice option. Boys and girls can find activities that present a variety of scientific challenges: What do objects need to be like in order for the wind to move them? Who lives in the terrarium? What properties do minerals and rocks have?
Espai GEO
A space to explore ideas and reflections about the Earth and the materials that make it up: interpreting maps and models, building structures, and more.
Espai Matèria
A space that offers activities focused on exploring questions about the properties of materials and the changes that occur when they interact.
